Find answers to common questions about Yoga Sphere

Yoga Sphere is a multisensory yoga experience that brings together breath, movement, music, and light. It helps you breathe evenly, deepen your focus, and practice more consciously.
Yoga Sphere suits your own practice at home as well as yoga teachers and studios who want to add a distinctive interplay of breath, movement, music, and light to their classes.
Yoga Sphere fits into any yoga style – Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga. You can adapt tempo, music and light to the practice at hand.
Music composed specifically for yoga sets an even breathing rhythm. You choose from four tempos – from calm and meditative to powerful and dynamic. Gently pulsing light makes that rhythm visible in the room.
Yoga Sphere for iOS is in open beta, so it installs through TestFlight, Apple's beta app, rather than the App Store. Two minutes, and the order matters. First install TestFlight from the App Store. Then open https://testflight.apple.com/join/6sCKBfME on your iPhone or iPad -- Apple lists the app as "Yoga Sphere Studio-Beta" -- and tap through to install it. No invite code, no waiting for approval. Finally open the app and sign in with the same email address you use here, so your licence follows your account. If you see "An error occurred. The app could not be opened.", TestFlight simply is not installed yet -- install it and open the invite again. The full guide is at https://yogasphere.app/how-to
Yoga Sphere expands on traditional forms like Vinyasa or Hatha by syncing breath and movement with sound and light. It's not a new style but a resonance space that deepens any practice. Whatever you do in harmony with your breath unfolds its full potential here.
Yoga Sphere was developed by Esh Loh—musician, composer, and yoga practitioner with over 25 years of experience. After recovering from cancer, he began exploring the connection between breath, music, and movement. After fifteen years of intensive work, Yoga Sphere was born in 2025 as the first platform that unites these elements into one coherent experience.
The Yoga Sphere app connects music, light, and breath in real time. Through smart lamps like Philips Hue or the Yoga Sphere Lamp, it controls monochrome light colors tuned precisely to your breathing rhythm and the music. This creates a harmonious field of sound, movement, and light you can experience anywhere.
The music is composed to match the natural flow of breathing. Its rhythmic and harmonic structures promote coherence in the nervous system and bring the body into smooth, even motion. Each sound layer follows a logical breathing pattern, merging breath and movement intuitively.
Each monochrome color connects to a different level of awareness—soothing blue for calmness, centering green for balance, energizing gold for vitality. Focusing on one color per session eases the nervous system, steadies the breath, and sharpens the mind.
Light is a form of energy that directly affects the autonomic nervous system. Gently modulated light frequencies support relaxation, clarity, and presence. Combined with music and breath, they create an inner state of harmony that science can measure as coherent resonance.
Resonance breathing follows a natural rhythm of about six to nine breaths per minute. This rhythm harmonizes heart, brain, and nervous system, increases heart rate variability (HRV), and promotes emotional stability, calmness, and focus.
Yes. Steady, conscious breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which handles recovery and relaxation. Studies show it lowers stress hormones, stabilizes heart rhythm, and improves HRV. The monochrome light frequencies further calm the nervous system and deepen relaxation.
Yes. Yoga Sphere combines modern research on breathing rhythms, HRV, music therapy, and the effect of light on the nervous system with the ancient wisdom of yoga. The result is a practice with measurable physiological effects that also expands awareness.
